Bluesman Lil' Ed Talks about new album "Jump Start"


Lil' Ed of Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials was a little reluctant to talk about his upcoming album Jump Start, but we did get a little out of him about it after he performed for the D.C. Blues Society on April 15 at a Wheaton, Maryland American Legion Hall. D.C. Blues Society President Felix McClairen and Sam'i Nuriddin of the D.C. Blues Society Band were in on the conversation as Ed talked about the upcoming album, his 26 years with the Blues Imperials as well as parallels that people draw between him and Hound Dog Taylor. He also talked about what he learned from his late uncle, the legendary slide guitarist J.B. Hutto....
